Hirfati
Find a trusted tradesperson in Jordan and get free quotes.
A marketplace for skilled trades across Jordan: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, metalwork, painting, air conditioning, tiling and general maintenance. Describe the job, receive quotes, choose.
##Overview
Finding a plumber in Jordan means asking a neighbour, calling a number written on a wall, or taking whoever answers. There is no way to compare, no way to check anyone, and no price until they are already in your house.
Hirfati puts the job first: describe what needs doing, and tradespeople quote for it. The comparison happens before anyone shows up.
## Challenges
### A marketplace with nobody on it is useless to both sides
Customers will not post jobs where no tradespeople are, and tradespeople will not sign up where there are no jobs. Launching an empty two-sided marketplace stalls immediately.
The site is useful before it has liquidity: it works as a searchable, SEO-indexed directory by trade and governorate, so a customer arriving from search finds someone to call even when quoting is quiet.
##Results
- Live and indexed by trade and governorate across Jordan.
- Free quote requests without an account.
